Recently, a batch of customized hose pumps manufactured by Hefei Huayun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. successfully passed quality inspection and packaging and has been shipped to a large-scale metal mine in China. These pumps will be deployed in the mine’s core slurry transfer system, providing reliable fluid-handling performance to boost production efficiency and ensure operational stability.

As one of China’s key mineral development projects, the mine processes a massive volume of slurry each day, characterized by high solid content and hard abrasive particles, which impose stringent requirements on the equipment’s wear resistance and anti-clogging capability. To address these challenges, Huayun Machinery conducted specialized R&D optimization for this batch of pumps:

• The core conveying components are made of high-strength, wear-resistant elastic materials that can withstand long-term erosion from abrasive particles, significantly reducing component wear.

• The flow channel structure was optimized to minimize the risk of slurry buildup and blockage, ensuring continuous, smooth transport that aligns with the mine’s 24-hour uninterrupted production schedule.
